Thermostat Factory Settings – Digital thermostat factory settings are programmed for when most people use the bathroom. These settings are popular and already pre-set in digital thermostats.
Smart meter tariff – You can heat your bathrooms during off peak and shoulder rates only, turning the system off between 2 pm-8 pm to prevent paying peak rates. The floor will slowly cool down during the evening but if the door has been closed and the heating has been on all day, the room should still remain warm.
Warm all winter – You can leave their bathroom heating on all day, all winter long. Small bathrooms only draw a small amount of power and leaving it on may not be a huge expense, depending on your energy tariff. We estimate that the floor run at 60% of the time after the floor has hit temperature. In a well-insulated room like a small bathroom with the door closed, this could be 50%.
