** VERY IMPORTANT WITH INSLAB INSTALLATION **
An adaptive function is a setting on the digital thermostat that allows the thermostat to predict when the floor heating should be turned on.
A thermostat set to 28°C at 6am will turn on before [based on the last few days temperature] in an attempt to be at 28°C at 6am. We recommendation to turn adaptive function off, especially for in-slab electric and in-slab heat pump systems that are utilising off-peak heating times.
Turning Adaptive Function to ‘Off’ [ Programmable Thermostats Only]
See our Thermostat Manual Page for programming your adaptive function.
